After the first openings at the end of November, and thanks to the first significant snowfalls, the ski season is getting into full swing and fans are ready to return to the slopes all over Italy. For everyone, including snowboarders, helmets are compulsory, and in almost all ski areas daily ski pass prices will be slightly higher, from 8% in Livigno to 4.8% in Sestriere and the Vialattea ski area, and 3.6% in Dolomiti Superski. In a nutshell, to ski a day in high season, one will spend from a minimum of about 50 euros to a maximum of 86 euros. In addition to skiing, significant attendance is also expected in the Italian mountains for outdoor activities (snowshoeing in the lead), high-altitude catering and wellness services. In the year of the Olympics in Milan Cortina, the experts' recommendations always call for safety on the slope, and therefore respect for other skiers, speed control, attention when entering and crossing, and a ban on improper stops.
