Snow is back in the limelight on the peaks of the Monterosa Ski Tre Valli ski area (combining the Aosta Valley resorts of Champoluc-Frachey and Gressoney-La-Trinité - Staffal with Alagna Valsesia in Piedmont), where the season started on 29 November with perfectly groomed slopes. From the fascination of the first descents to the adrenaline rush off-piste, to relaxation in the Alpine villages, winter at the foot of Monte Rosa promises to be an experience capable of combining sport, nature and pure emotion. Monterosa Ski is once again proposing its voucher policy for ski pass refunds in the event of partial or total closure of the ski area: holders of daily or multi-day ski passes who apply for them will be granted multi-purpose vouchers that can be spent not only online, in the shops of the Monterosa SpA and Monterosa 2000 SpA companies, but also in participating commercial activities: from a cultural pole of international appeal such as the Fortress of Bard, to the Monterosa Spa centre in Champoluc, up to Skyway Mont Blanc and local craft shops, restaurants and accommodation facilities, the beneficiary users will have the opportunity to spend the vouchers issued by 30 June 2027. Among the novelties in the Gressoney Valley is the renovated and expanded Baby Snow Park Sonne in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, while in Gressoney-La-Trinité a brand new Murmeltier toboggan run will provide new thrills. Served by the Moos chairlift, the new slope is dedicated to tobogganing in, measures 550 m in length and is complete with lighting for night openings (Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 20:30 to 22:30) and snow-making facilities that will allow it to be practicable throughout the winter season.
