In Cervinia where the season lasts 11 months of the year

There will be no more breaks between winter and summer, the endless season will provide extended enjoyment for skiers and snowboarders who love holidays in the snow, trips and hikes for mountaineers, and even high-altitude experiences for pedestrians who want to explore Zermatt or the Little Matterhorn via the innovative Matterhorn Alpine Crossing. Between Breuil-Cervinia, Valtournenche and Zermatt - connected by skis - 350 kilometres of slopes and pure adrenalin, for one of the highest and largest ski areas in the world, which continues to renew itself. Cervinia is a fast-growing international destination, with a high-spending foreign clientele of 95 %, appreciated both in winter and summer, with a high attraction for sports and wellness activities in winter and summer, making Cervinia the resort with the longest seasonality in Europe (October-May), welcoming lovers of skiing and more, with hiking trails, mountain biking, mountain and lake natural landscapes. Skiers this year will find a pleasant novelty at the foot of the iconic pyramid, symbol of mountaineering. As soon as there are ideal snow conditions, the new Goillet chairlift will be inaugurated, replaced in the summer by a high-tech system that will guarantee a fast connection between Breuil-Cervinia and the nearby Valtournenche, as well as access to the wonderful slopes upstream of the dam of the same name. The new lift is also equipped with the EcoDrive system, which improves efficiency and environmental impact. On the fares front, there will be a 20% reduction on ski passes for the under-24s, as well as a 30% discount applied to the under-16s in the entire Cervino Ski Paradise area, which in addition to Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche also includes Torgnon and Chamois, scheduled to open at the beginning of December. Cervino Ski Paradise, in addition to preparing for the new season, has also been working for months on the new edition of the Snowboard Cross World Cup, an event that launches the resort's winter and is organised in synergy between Consorzio Cervino Turismo, Cervino Spa and the municipality of Valtournenche. This year, at the foot of the Gran Becca, the inaugural stage of the international circuit will be held with a women's and a men's race on 14 December, offering a great spectacle, with jumps, parabolics, overtaking and measuring passes.
