Alberto Sorbini - 1957 - Milan - Food Supplement Manufacturing Industry

He is chairman of Enervit, a company founded by his father in 1954 as a phytotherapeutic products pharmaceutical company and today specialising in research and production of sports supplements and functional nutrition. He joined the company in the 1980s and became its CEO in 1991. Under his leadership, investments were made in research, the new plant in Erba was inaugurated and the historic production site in Zelbio was upgraded. In the early 2000s, he launched the EnerZona brand, a line of nutritionally balanced products distributed throughout Europe. It operates with two plants in Lombardy and is present in Spain with a subsidiary. Exports account for around 17%. It employs 340 people.
