Giorgio Girondi - 1955 - Verona - Filtration Technology Industry

He is president of Ufi Filters, a company founded by his father and other partners for the production of filters for the automotive sector and today active in the realisation of filtration technologies for the automotive, aerospace and nautical sectors. In 1976, on the death of his father, he took over the entire capital from the other partners. From the early years he started collaborations with the Ferrari racing team, followed by supplies for the Prancing Horse's road cars. Today, the group supplies 10 Formula 1 racing teams and its technologies are chosen by 95% of car manufacturers. It has 22 plants worldwide, three of which are in Italia, and produces more than 70 million filters per year. It holds 337 patents and employs 4,300 people.
