He is chairman of Ponti, a family business founded in 1787 and today one of Italy's leading players in the production of vinegars, dressings and vegetable preserves, with a share of around 45% of the national vinegar market. In 2008, it expanded the Group's presence in the organic sector with the acquisition of Achillea, and in 2014 it started internationalisation with the establishment of Ponti USA and Ponti France. It operates with five plants in Novara, Modena, Treviso and Frosinone. It distributes in 73 countries, with exports accounting for 50%.
